IBIZA AIRPORT
There is only 1 Terminal at Ibiza Airport making navigating your way around easy: An airport information desk is located on the Arrivals level and the Ibiza and Island Council also operate a tourist information office on the Arrivals level. There is a bank, bureau de change and ATMs located in and around the terminal building of the airport. There are a few shops located in the airport, including duty-free shops, a news agent and music shop. The airport also has bars, cafes, a cake shop and fast-food outlets, including Ben & Jerry, Cafeteria Dalt Vila and more!
GETTING TO IBIZA ROCKS HOTEL (ST ANTONIO)
St Antonio is located 25 minutes away from Ibiza airport, on the western coast of the island. The Ibiza Rocks Hotel (formerly Paraiso) is tucked away around the back of the resort - on the western fringes.
Below are a few different travel options but we advise getting a taxi as there are plenty around, they're quick and because it's not far it's not expensive.
Ibiza Rocks Hotel
Calle Cervantes 27 07820
San Antonio, Ibiza
Hire a Car
What better way to see the beautiful Island of Ibiza than hiring a car and having the freedom to drive where you want when you want! Avis, Betacar Ibiza, Centauro and Hertz are all represented at the airport, with offices blocated on the Arrivals level.
You can reach all the islands resorts on the motorway quickly, although you must remember that all signs are written in the local dialect Catalan (not Spanish), making destination names like St Antonio appear as slightly different words such as Sant Antoni.
Word to the wise: legal driving alcohol blood level in Spain is lower than the UK. Just one drink could put you over the legal limit (and straight into a custodial sentence). The Police are especially vigilant in September.
Get a Taxi
The Taxi rank is located just outside the arrivals hall. All Taxi’s now run off a meter rather than a set-price, so keep an eye on it! Ibizan taxi's are reliable and honest...but can be scarce when the big club nights are taking place. Otherwise there will be plenty at the airport and you'll only have to queue for 5-10 mins.
Rough cost to San Antonio should be around 25 Euros (Daytime) 28-30 Euros (Night time).
Ask for Ibiza Rocks Hotel (although the Taxi drivers may recognise it more as its former name, "the Paraiso", San Antonio).
Catch a bus
Buses direct to San Antonio only arrived late last year but have resulted in vast improvements for the typical traveller heading to the resort town. Unfortunately they stop running on the 15th September of each season, meaning that unless you’re heading out early you will have to get a taxi or hire a shuttle bus with to St Antonio.
If you are out early enough, catch [b]the number 9 bus shuttle from outside the arrivals hall.
Buses leave at:- 8:00, 10:00, 12:00, 17:00, 19:00, 21:00.
Airport Transfers
Shuttle Bus drivers will be available around the arrivals hall and by the bus car park to negotiate a price to your destination. The price will vary with your negotiating skills, but should be around 15 – 17 Euros per person. Alternatively visit Transfer Store - the largest and most prestigious transfer company in Spain. Here you can book your airport transfers in advance, giving you the comfort and satisfaction that you won’t be queuing up for a taxi.
