Barry Peters' career was launched through Halifax Hospital Radio where he donned the decks in the early 1980’s with a flamboyant discography of timeless tunes – This and a long term residency at Zany’s Niteclub in Skipton and summer sets in Zany’s Corfu set the precedent for his delusions of DJ grandeur – an under achieving star of the mobile disco world. Barry Peters is a loveable rogue, a cheeky 40 something Northerner with an eye for the ladies.

Greg Wilson first came to national prominence in the early 80’s as the first to champion New Yorks emerging Electro Funk sound. From day one his support for the radical new electronic dance music caused deep divisions within the jazz funkfraternity. To many ears the new electro funk sound had no soul… to some it didn’t even qualify as real music. Over 20 years on how is this music viewed today? Greg Wilson is in no doubt.

DJ-ing is infectious. Joe Ransom's blistering sets are packed with hot heavy jams that you can’t stop nodding your head at, and moving your feet to. In a London weekend he might play five or six times, zipping around town from gig-to-gig, hitting the decks everywhere from Fabric’s main room to his friends’ flats. His sound – an upfront blend of hip-hop breaks, dancehall, pop, and Asian underground – was founded in the big smoke but is welcomed worldwide.

They have over 25 years turntable experience between them, and a blatant disregard for music genres! OK let's explain...if you think Soulwax meets Coldcut meets Sasha and Digweed you're in the right ball park...if there is such a place? There really isn't a musical boundary that the Streetlife DJs won't cross. A Streetlife set is like one big lesson in the history of dance music...in one night! Isn't that the best history lesson you're ever likely to have? DJ Magazine quoted 'We love these guys because they rock...The UK's very own 2ManyDJs!' Now that's a tag they're not too unhappy about...
